About Me

Hello there! I am Caleb Rollins, a current undergraduate (forth-year student) about to finish a BS in Computer Science with a concentration in Cybersecurity.

I am passionate about the field of cybersecurity as it facilitates a natural pairing of technical expertise and the opportunity to directly help others. I am a dedicated student that is able to learn quickly, solve problems procedurally, and effectively work in a collaborative environment.

During all four years of high school, I participated in a cybersecurity competition-based program called Cyberpatriot. As team captain for the last two years, I gave presentations about topics such as multi-factor authentication, spotting email phishing, and how to craft a strong password. The team under my leadership took the state championship and even qualified for the national competition in my senior year.

I also had the privilege to present current trends in the field of cybersecurity to the technology board of my local city chamber of commerce (See this article).

In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, biking, and spending quality time with my family. I am a member of the HackPack club here at NCSU and participate in Capture The Flag events with the team.
